With Speedrunner, you are tasked with getting other players off the screen. You achieve this by hitting them where they have no chance of recovery. There is only one view, and if you fall from view, then you lose.

If you run towards the side of the screen, then you have the best chance of winning. The rules are a little confusing because people ask what happens if both players start in the middle of the screen and run the opposite direction. In that case, the one that runs towards the edge and gets there first will win. Despite the confusion, there are some people that really enjoy this game.

Some people are simply not going to like the 2D graphics and gameplay, and even more are going to dislike paying so much money for the game. Nevertheless, it will appeal to some but you should probably watch a video of the gameplay first. It Has Comic Book Style Graphics, Tones And Themes

The graphics are simply awful. It was made by an indie developer, but that is no excuse for the poor quality. They could have tried and done a lot more, yet they didn’t. The music is okay, but it will not knock your socks off, and the sound effects are reminiscent of the Amiga computer gaming system.

The biggest thing that appears to draw people back to this game is the fact you can play with people online and rank up through the leagues and classes to become the best player on the internet. People have spent a lot of time playing this primitive game, just to try to become the ultimate champion.

What Is The gameplay Like?

Use your grappling hook on other people and on objects. Set traps and use weapons to get rid of other players, and run to get other people off the screen. It has very fast and very dynamic gameplay.
